I’m in the process of making a simple and modern portfolio site for my girlfriend and I’ve finished fleshing out the router, navbar and footer, as well as some of the career and marketing pages.
Here is a screenshot of the top of the landing page:
The flower image is a placeholder I’m using as I work through the site, I will update with actual related images when I get closer to making the website public. You can see that same flower image used as a placeholder on the career page:
As you can see at the bottom of the screenshot there is one of my old resumes serving as a placeholder until I upload my girlfriend’s resume. I figured out how to display and even edit a PDF on a webpage by using an <iframe> HTML tag.
So far I’ve had a lot of fun using a combination of Angular 18 and Bootstrap to make this website stand out. I’m starting the process of making a sign-up form for the marketing page and then all that’s left is the art page.
